The Company’s discovery program is targeted to generate a significant pipeline of high value, high sensitivity/specificity disease biomarkers and diagnostic tests. In addition to its revenue stage products, Genesis has successfully discovered multiple disease biomarkers for several cancers including prostate, lung, breast, colorectal and melanoma.
- Prostate Cancer – This test is a non-invasive, screening test which utilizes a prostate associated fluid (e.g. urine) and is expected to have the capacity for early detection of prostate cancer and eliminate current, relatively inaccurate methods associated with the existing standard of care
- Lung Cancer – There is no non-invasive alternative technology for the testing of lung cancer; this test endeavors to change the clinical landscape in a low cost, reliable non-invasive manner.
- Breast Cancer – This test is envisioned to be a non-invasive, early detection test having the capacity to detect ductal carcinoma in situ in women of all ages before the cancer becomes invasive.
- Melanoma – The test leverages a non-invasive approach to collecting skin, mole or other potential malignant cells coupled with proprietary mitochondrial biomarkers to confirm the presence of cancer, thereby avoiding a biopsy of skin tissue or assessment by a dermatologist.
- Colorectal Cancer – This test will offer a non-invasive screening test capable of the detection of colorectal cancer in both symptomatic and asymptomatic individuals.
